  • Which method of carpet cleaning is the best?
    The steam cleaning method is called “truck mounted hot water extraction,” and carpet manufacturers recommend this method because it picks up the dirt without harming the fabric. Additionally, the steam cleaning process does not inject substances into carpets that can leave residue on carpet fibers.   • How long does it take to dry?
    Humid days may take a little longer but on average, it takes about 3-5 hours. Furniture may take a slightly longer.
  • Stubborn spots keep reappearing! Why?
    It’s called “wicking.” The spot that was treated seeped back into the backing of the carpet and maybe even the padding. This happens most often with pet urine and any spilled substance in a large amount. When the carpet is cleaned, the stain is removed from the pile of the carpeting. As the carpet dries, the moisture settles back into the carpet and into the pile. This is what makes the stains reappear sometimes, but it usually can still be removed.   • How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
    Your carpet’s life and appearance can be extended from routine professional cleaning. Regular cleanings can restore the original look and luster of your carpet.   • Will carpet cleaning wear out my carpets?
    Absolutely not. Without regular professional cleaning, the abrasive nature and buildup of dirt and other soil will wear your carpet down very quickly. Professional carpet cleaning restores life and volume to your carpets and fabrics.
  • Will the cleaning take care of the odors?
    Our cleaning process will remove most, if not all, of the usual odors. In fact, it will smell great for days afterwards. Some stubborn odors may linger, but can usually be taken care of with a deodorizer.
  • Will all of the stains come out?

  • How should I prepare for carpet cleaning?
    Please make sure all visible debris is removed. It's recommend that you vacuum beforehand, though it’s not mandatory. We will move most furniture if necessary and within reason. Very heavy or fragile items such as fish tanks, armoires, etc. will not be moved. Special items should be also removed, so we don’t accidentally damage any of your belongings. If you have areas of concern, let us know beforehand so we can give them special treatment. We do love animals but if your pet will not love us, please keep them in a separate area until the process is finished.
  • How long until I can walk on my carpets?
    You can walk on your carpets as soon as we're finished. We do recommend a very limited traffic path until it’s entirely dry. On flat surfaces, like tile and hardwood, be cautious when it's wet as it can be a slip hazard.
